Thousand attend Meadows Festival - Mackintosh

According to organisers over 4,000 people were at the Meadows Festival at its peak on Sunday afternoon.

Meadows Festival Convenor Fred Mackintosh said, "I want to thank all the volunteers who help with this year's festival. This is a great community event and this year it has gone from strength to strength."

The Meadows Festival has been running for over 30 years with a two year gap in 2006 and 2007. It is run by a committee of local people. Follow the link below to find the Association's website.
