Private Sector Backing South Sub

Newington Councillor Fred Mackintosh has welcomed the achievement of the E-rail consortium in securing up to £8.5 million to help pay for the return of passenger services to the South Suburban Railway.

Commenting Fred Mackintosh said:

"I hope this achievement by E-rail will now be matched by the council. The Labour council really need to produce a business case for the project as soon as possible."
